MUMBAI: Aspect Realty, the property arm of Aspect Global, has hired real estate heavyweight Suraj Kulkarni as chief operating officer and head of partnership business. The move signals a sharp push to scale operations, tighten project delivery and expand joint ventures across India.
Kulkarni brings more than three decades of high-level dealmaking and site execution to the developer. He previously served as chief operating officer at Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate, directing flagship developments, site strategy and complex stakeholder matrices. His career trajectory spans key roles at Larsen & Toubro Realty, Tata Realty & Infrastructure Limited, and Peninsula Land Limited. During his tenure at GVK, he formed part of the core team behind Terminal 2 at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, while at Tata Realty he led business development for a $650m fund.
His track record is formidable. Kulkarni has structured and closed over 100 land and project deals across joint developments, acquisitions and management contracts. He has also overseen the completion and handover of more than 30 major residential, commercial and infrastructure projects nationwide.
