MUMBAI: When mythology meets machine, storytelling gets a digital rebirth. Collective Artists Network has unveiled an AI-powered avatar of author Amish Tripathi, marking a new step in blending cultural storytelling with emerging technology. The avatar will front a premium short-form content slate, set to roll out across digital platforms from May 2026.
The initiative centres on an AI-led channel anchored by Tripathi’s voice and persona, focusing on themes such as history, legends and philosophy. Developed in collaboration with Collective’s Historyverse, the content aims to repackage India’s ancient narratives into a format designed for today’s mobile-first audiences short, immersive and easily accessible.
Rather than simple retellings, the slate is positioned as a modern content universe built around culturally rooted intellectual properties. By extending Tripathi’s identity into an AI avatar, the project combines the credibility of a bestselling author with the scalability of digital content.
Tripathi, one of India’s fastest-selling authors, described the move as a natural evolution of storytelling, noting that AI offers new ways to make narratives more immersive and widely accessible. The collaboration also reflects a broader industry shift, where creators and platforms are experimenting with AI to expand both reach and format.
For Collective Artists Network, the launch aligns with its strategy to build culture-led content ecosystems that merge tradition with technology. The goal is to create narratives that are devotional yet contemporary, appealing to younger audiences without losing historical depth.
As the lines between creator and code begin to blur, this AI avatar signals a new chapter, where stories rooted in the past are retold through the tools of the future.
