Pakistan trolled: Indian YouTubers recreate viral exercise meme during Ind vs Pak T20 clash

YouTubers recreate viral exercise meme in stands after India’s 61-run win over Pakistan.

Colombo: The fiercest rivalry in cricket didn’t just play out on the pitch this past Sunday; it took a comedic detour into the grandstands. As India dismantled Pakistan by 61 runs to march into the T20 World Cup Super 8s, the scoreboard wasn’t the only thing causing a stir.

While the men in blue were busy finishing the game “jaldi jaldi” (quickly), popular Indian YouTubers were busy working up a sweat of a different kind.

The digital drama centres on a video posted by the well-known Instagram handle beyounick. In a cheeky nod to a recent viral clip of Pakistani players performing rather unconventional training exercises, the content creators decided to bring the gym to the stadium.

The YouTubers recreated the weird workout live in the stands, mocking the opposition’s preparation after their lackluster performance on the field. The caption read, “Aahista aahista nahi jaldi jaldi match khatam kardiya” – a playful jab suggesting that while the training was slow, the defeat was incredibly swift.

Within 24 hours, the post racked up over 4 million views, proving that when it comes to India versus Pakistan, the banter is just as competitive as the bowling, though reactions were split: many fans hailed the stunt as comedic gold and joined in the digital ribbing, while others gave the video a red card, calling the mockery immature or unethical sportsmanship.

Whether you view it as harmless high-jinks or a foul play in etiquette, one thing is certain: India’s victory was a masterclass, and the aftermath was a workout in viral marketing.
