NEW DELHI: Birla Estates, the real estate arm of the Aditya Birla Group, has teamed up with India Art Fair 2026 as part of its wider brand initiative, Canvas of Life. The fair, one of the country’s biggest showcases of modern and contemporary art, runs from February 5 to 8 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds in Okhla, New Delhi.
The association is built around a simple idea. Luxury is no longer about excess, but about meaning, experience and the stories that spaces hold. In that sense, a home is not very different from a work of art. Both are shaped by intention, layered with emotion and designed to last.
Birla Estates is translating that thought into a dedicated LifeDesigned Lounge at the fair. Instead of a typical brand booth, the space has been conceived as an immersive cultural corner, blending art, architecture and conversation. The lounge features works by internationally acclaimed artists Loris Cecchini, known for his fluid sculptural forms, and Yayoi Kusama, celebrated worldwide for her bold, immersive explorations of infinity and repetition.
The company is also hosting a series of curated sessions that explore the overlap between heritage, design and contemporary living. Participants include Karishma Swali, creative director at the Chanakya School of Craft; the Pichwai Sisters, who reinterpret traditional Pichwai art for modern audiences; and UHA Red Pavilion, a multidisciplinary design practice known for its narrative-driven spaces.
Alongside the programming, Birla Estates will organise exclusive guided tours for select patrons and collectors. Led by experts, these walkthroughs are designed to offer deeper insight into the fair’s key artworks and galleries, positioning the company as a cultural host rather than a conventional sponsor.
With Canvas of Life, Birla Estates is making a case that the homes people live in and the art they admire often spring from the same place. Both, after all, are about how one chooses to see the world and shape a life within it.
