California: Krisp has appointed Vimal Nair as chief growth officer, India, signalling a sharper push into one of the world’s most consequential BPM markets as voice AI shifts from add-on to infrastructure.
Based in India, Nair will be tasked with expanding partnerships across BPO and BPM leaders and working closely with enterprise technology teams shaping the next phase of voice-led customer experience. The move underscores India’s central role in global customer support, where voice remains the backbone of large-scale CX operations.
As expectations around call quality, agent productivity and consistency rise, voice AI is becoming mission-critical for service providers. Krisp says a stronger local presence will allow it to respond faster to the needs of India’s fast-evolving BPM ecosystem.
Nair brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling enterprise technology and SaaS businesses across India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with hands-on exposure to voice AI and agentic solutions for customer support.
Krisp’s platform is already used by global enterprises to improve speech clarity and real-time voice intelligence. With this appointment, the company is betting that India will shape the future of how the world hears—and is heard.
