MUMBAI: Almonds Ai is planning to file for an initial public offering (IPO) by 2029 as it looks to evolve from a channel loyalty and rewards business into a global Distribution Intelligence company.
The company said the proposed listing will support its ambition to build an AI-powered operating system for distribution networks, helping brands predict outcomes, recommend actions and eventually automate decisions across their distribution ecosystems.
Almonds Ai, which was launched in 2020, currently works with more than 100 global brands and serves millions of channel partners, including retailers, dealers, distributors, sales teams and last-mile influencers. The company said its platforms process millions of distribution interactions every month.
The company began by helping enterprises strengthen channel loyalty and engagement. It now believes the data generated through these interactions can unlock a much larger opportunity in distribution intelligence.
Every reward redeemed, invoice uploaded, campaign launched, field visit completed and retailer interaction creates data that can provide insights into how distribution networks operate. Almonds Ai said it has spent the past five years building a proprietary distribution data layer and plans to use this foundation to develop AI-led products.
The proposed IPO is expected to help the company strengthen its technology capabilities, expand its AI research and engineering teams, accelerate product development and explore international markets.
“When we started Almonds Ai, our objective was to solve one of the biggest challenges brands face: building stronger relationships with their distribution networks. Today, we have grown into a profitable company working with some of the country’s leading brands, and our ambitions have become much bigger,” said Almonds Ai co-founder Abhinav Jain and co-founder Apurv Modi in a joint statement.
“Our plan to file for an IPO by 2029 reflects our confidence in the journey ahead and our commitment to building a globally relevant technology company from India. We see this not as a financial milestone, but as the next step towards creating a smarter, AI-powered distribution ecosystem that helps brands make better decisions, strengthen channel relationships and unlock sustainable growth,” they added.
Almonds Ai currently provides channel loyalty, engagement, rewards and sales acceleration solutions to distribution-led enterprises. Its Channelverse ecosystem is designed to connect brands with retailers, dealers and other channel participants.
The company also says it pioneered Green Loyalty Programmes, incorporating sustainability into loyalty management.
With the IPO plan, Almonds Ai is positioning the next phase of its growth around turning its distribution data into actionable intelligence. The broader ambition is to move beyond rewarding channel partners towards helping brands make faster, smarter and increasingly automated distribution decisions.
