MUMBAI: Credit where it’s due: India’s fast-growing credit-tech sector has another milestone to celebrate. Quid has completed two years of operations, crossing 10 million registered users as it looks to evolve from a credit discovery platform into a broader AI-led credit intelligence ecosystem.
The Mumbai-based platform said it has scaled rapidly since launch, partnering with more than 50 financial institutions and NBFCs while facilitating over ₹500 crore in loan disbursals during the past year alone. The figures reflect rising demand among consumers seeking simpler ways to discover, compare and manage credit products.
Quid has seen strong uptake among salaried professionals, first-time borrowers and emerging credit segments. The company is also expanding its reach across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, aiming to make credit intelligence and financial guidance more accessible beyond India’s major metropolitan centres.
Commenting on the milestone, Quid founder Jitesh Shah said, “We started Quid with a simple belief that accessing credit shouldn’t feel complicated or overwhelming. Over the last two years, we’ve used technology, AI and bureau-led insights to simplify how people discover and manage credit. Crossing 10 million users is a strong validation of the trust people have placed in us.”
He added that the company’s next phase of growth will focus on helping consumers identify better credit options, manage debt more effectively, improve credit health and make more informed financial decisions.
Technology remains central to Quid’s proposition. The platform uses AI-driven lender matching, eligibility prediction, automated risk assessment and personalised credit recommendations powered by bureau integrations to streamline the borrowing journey.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company recently launched Quid Prime, a debt optimisation offering designed to help borrowers reduce their EMI burden through balance transfers and access improved lending terms. Built around the “Save Your EMI” proposition, the solution also enables top-ups to provide greater financial flexibility.
The company is simultaneously developing new products aimed at helping users strengthen their credit profiles and improve financial preparedness, signalling a shift from being purely a marketplace for credit products to becoming a more comprehensive financial intelligence platform.
Looking ahead, Quid plans to deepen its presence across the entire credit lifecycle, spanning discovery, optimisation and credit improvement. With 10 million users now on board, the company is betting that AI-powered insights and personalised recommendations will play an increasingly important role in how Indians borrow, manage debt and build long-term financial health.
